What unites them all is that they live their lives abroad. More and more young people are leaving their home country to live their dream. These bold expats are full of potential. They are the correspondents of the show - our eyes and ears around the world. In the second season of My New Country, we take you on a fascinating journey to Chile, Australia, Italy, England and Iceland. To guide us we rely on our five correspondents: Katarina Jansson, Ingrid Öhberg, Freja Lindeman, Kim Varstala and Christoffer Westerlund.

Yet, 25 years later, South Africa is the most economically unequal country in the world and the legacy of economic apartheid continues to define day-to-day life for most South Africans. Heartbreakingly insightful, the film consists of remarkably frank interviews with a full spectrum of South Africans, from informal workers to pop culture figures to artists, politicians, and academics. Moving through the last three decades, the film follows the South African narrative from the early days of liberation to a contemporary society that is increasingly fractured and in which the culture of resistance and protest is as strong and vital as it was during the height of legislated apartheid.

As if survival in the big city wasn't tough enough, his roommate dies, leaving him in search of a quality roommate. Surprisingly, he discovers there are a host of celebrities who have fallen out of the limelight and are looking for a roommate as well. Unfortunately for David, they come with more baggage than he can handle.
